I started my journey in interior design with big dreams and a whole lot of determination. But in 2010—just 3 years after launching my interior design firm, life shifted in a major way. My marriage ended, and I went from running a successful construction company and growing my design business to becoming a single mother of 4 school-age kids.
With 4 pairs of eyes watching everything I did, there was no room to give up. By God’s grace, my sleepless nights turned into a mix of prayers and strategy sessions, figuring out how to keep going, how to grow, and how to build something that would last.
Fast forward 15 years, and I didn’t just survive. I have thrived. I grew my interior design firm, created DezinerLux as a space for designers to connect and elevate, and now I’m back with DezinerTalk. In this weekly podcast, we talk about the good, the bad, and the real realities of the design business.

She has been featured on podcasts, served as a speaker, and contributed as a guest columnist—sharing interior design advice, creative ideas, and even coordinating surprise makeovers for children in her community.
Currently, she is managing multiple design projects while continuing to grow DezinerLux, an online space created for designers to connect, learn, and elevate.
